When using emphasis in nouns with possesive endings, the article goes before the personal pronoun. a házam - az én házam a kutyád - a te kutyád a felesége - az ő felesége etc. 2. The word "nincs" can be used only in present tense, in past tense is "nem volt", in future tense is "nem lesz". (Imperative: "ne legyen", conditional present: "ne lenne", conditional past: "nem lett volna".) When you learn conditional, you will see that the use of Hungarian conditional is much more simple than English or Spanish conditional. Or both sentences are in indicative (if the condition is factual) or both are in conditional (if the condition in counterfactual). A small correction for you. We say 'either...or...', not 'or...or...' Is this a translation from Hungarian? Can I say 'vagy...vagy...'? I know it's like this in Spanish too - 'ó...ó...' You can say in Hungarian with one word too, but not "hülye", it should be "hülyeség". And if it is in the past, there must be past tense "hülyeség volt". 2 persons have voted this message useful |
