I just came to wonder why I wrote that last part in Catalan, but now I know: on the keyboard I'm using right now I found the little dot which the Catalans put between two l's to avoid the /lj/ sound. And when I googled the local weather here the first item on the page was a 14 days weather report in Catalan, not Castillian. Sun sun sun all over ... but quite cold weather.

On the other hand I can’t even find the hyphen on the keyboard I am using now, much less the special Spanish inverted exclamation and interrogation signs, so I have to insert any punction apart from dots and commas through the clipboard. As a sign of my annoyance witrh the keyboard this short message will be in English. Sorry.

A member has urged me to let my Guide to Learning Languages be published as a free ebook. However I would like to rewrite it and add more illustrations first, so that project will take some time ... and that time can only be taken from my concrete language studies. But right now I am in the middle of a vocabulary campaign in Spanish, where I so far have worked my way through tha alphabet from L to mid P, with around 1000 words on my sheets. But Spanish is not one of my weakest language so to save time and effort and paper I have made I minor alteration to my usual wordlist routine. I read 5 to 7 words with their explanations in the dictionary, and then I write them in my most microscopically small handwriting on a piece of twice folded paper and add the translations groupwise from memory. And my repetition is of the kind with just the Spanish words and translations wherever I feel it is relevant and only there. In this way my first 1000 repetition words can be fitted into less than one page. Maybe I should add that my luggage is packed according to the same principles with a total of about 5 kilograms of stuff for 12 days. Ryanair won't earn any checked lugged fees on me!

OK, I just couldn't resist the temptations to blabber about my current activities. Please disregard any ortographical inconveniences due to the nature of this keyboard.
