I have to admit that I ignored Russian throughout most of March and April... my first encounter with aspects was worse for my motivation than I initially thought.

But May has been better so far and I will hopefully be able to do the April/Mai challenge (and update my log once again...).

Personally I am so stressed out these days that I am about to have a heart attack. The week in Berlin was
amazing, but when I came back we moved offices, the same day as I had the worst meeting in my entire
career, interpreting between two Frenchman where one refused to speak French, and the wife of the other
screamed blue murder all through the meeting, I received a Spanish houseguest for two weeks that I am
supposed to teach English, one friend needed my help in convincing her father not to leave for Latin-America,
since he has advanced cancer and she is afraid he'll die, and another friend needed me to talk her daughter
into going to the US for a year, my Kazakh friend needed be to teach her Norwegian and my garden looks
like a disaster area. I have just been three days in Brussels, where I was supposed to stay longer, but my ex
bailed on his visiting dates with the kids for the third time this month. In two days we have our national holiday
which is on par with Christmas as far as stress goes, I have one day at work before I go to Paris for four days
and when I come back I have just a few days to fill out the tax papers and celebrate my birthday before I go
back to Paris. And yesterday I found out that the Ministry of Transport will split our company in two, which will
make our lives a living hell for the next 8 months. My Russian study routine? Listening to music in the
morning while trying not to die.

@Solfrid Cristin,

Or, as I would say, using the slightly less educated register:

I'm still here, studying for the C2 Russian exam.

Good to hear from all of you! :)

Cristina, I'm sorry to hear you're facing such stress! I surely don't want to contribute to that stress by asking you to complete the challenge. Just take your time! We'll be here for you as soon as you can think about Russian again.

Just to be clear, though: The April/May Challenge is describing your daily routine such as getting up, eating, going to work, etc. You are not supposed to describe your study routine. That might be a bit boring.

Anyway, good luck everybody!

I am happy to hear that you think our daily routines are less boring than our study
routines :-) Otherwise I am fine. I am just more or less in a constant state of
stress, because I want to do to much, travel all the time, and am unable to say no
when anyone needs my help. I need to work on that.

Hello everyone. I have also been more or less absent from the Forum for a long while. Although not as stressed as Solfrid Cristina, I have been rather busy and travelled a lot lately, and I just felt, like I often do in spring, the need to take a break from HTLAL. However, I have not stopped studying Russian, quite the contrary, and I feel I am making good progress (which I will hopefully find time to write about in my log one of these days). I'll try to complete the April/May challenge asap.
