Fala cara! Então, esse que eu to usando é o "O Novo Francês Sem Esforço", aparentemente de 1987. É a tradução praticamente literal do "New French With Ease", que é mais novo que o "Without Toil". Mas tem menos lições também. 1 person has voted this message useful | |||

O Novo Francês Sem Esforço - Leçons 8-14: Now I think I'm much more used to that construction "Est-ce que...", it's really easy after all. The first time I listen to the audio I usually get about 60-70% of what's being said, and after repeating it some times I can get easily to 80-90% (depending on the lesson). That means my previous knowledge of Portuguese and especially Italian helps a lot indeed, but there's still much room for improvement and new words to acquire. Lessons are fun as always, and I feel Assimil is doing a great job. Another thing I'm doing is retaking the last 1-2 lessons very quickly before going to a new one. That helps me a lot with retaining the new vocabulary. I'm not doing Anki lists for now, but I feel that it's a good idea, since each new lesson seems to have more new words (in quantity) than the last one. Btw, last review lesson (14) was very good, explaining all the possessive pronouns, the regular verb conjugation (which I'd figured out already, but still) and time expressions. A word I'm getting used to is "ça". They seem to put it anywhere, and most of the time it doesn't have a specific translation. Aside from Assimil, I'm still taking my "Quick French Course" at university, which will probably end next week. I get a loooot of vocabulary, exercises and even some oral production out of it, so I'm sure it's helping me a lot. I'm also trying to speak with some people on Livemocha in French, and so far I could maintain 30 minutes conversations without problems!! \o/\o/\o/ Of course I use a lot of Google Translate (mostly to know some verb or conjugate it, since my reading comprehension is quite good so far), but I'm still proud! =) À bientôt, mes amis! =) ITALIANO: Quando riguarda l'italiano, ho visto qualche film stupendi recentemente. Per primo, ho visto l'ultimo film di Woody Allen, "To Rome With Love", che è una comedia romantica che racconta sulla vita de alcune coppie, Italiane e americane, ed è troppo divertita! Poi, ho visto un che si chiama "Generazione Mille Euro", un drama/comedia che racconta su tutta una generazione di giovani di Milano (ma penso che questo valga per tutta l'Italia) che finiscono l'università e poi non riescono a trovare un buon lavoro, soltanto questi "stage" che pagano malissimo. Un bel film, è stato veramente molto interessante per me, che penso di andarci un giorno. Poi, mi hanno raccomandato un altro che si chiama "C'è chi dice no". È una comedia politica che racconta la storia di 3 persone di Firenze (sogno mio...=P) che non riescono a salire nella carriera perché la "mafia" del nepotismo sempre mette qualcun altro al posto che sarebbe loro per merito. Anche interessante. Infine, quello che mi è piaciuto di più. Non è mica un film nuovo (2001), ma non l'avevo mai guardato. Si chiama "L'ultimo Bacio" del regista Gabriele Muccino. È un drama sulla vita di alcune coppie Italiane in crisi nella vita, per diversi motivi. Ci sono quelli più vecchi che non si amano più, c'è un che conosce una bella ragazzina e tradisce sua moglie incinta, altro è stato lasciato e non riesce a superare sua ex, altro non può soportare più sua moglie che è cambiata dopo la nascità del loro primo figlio. È un film veramente interessante, divertente e che fa pensare. Lo consiglio a tutti! Tranne questi film, ho parlato con amici su Livemocha, Facebook ed ho guardato qualche vlog su youtube. Don't worry, compound words are even worse in Dutch and the Dutch cognate to angstskrik is angstschreeuw - 8 consonants. (Although ch is a digraph for one sound, of course). And Fabricio deals with it admirably in Dutch so I doubt that will defeat him in Norwegian, haha.. At least Russian just prefixes words. Some days ago I realized how lazy I've been with Russian, when I tried to speak to my in-laws and did an awful job. That was both a great disappointment and motivation, so today I decided to go for it and I'm actually still ok, though I forgot some larger words. I had an 1 hour conversation on Livemocha with no problems whatsoever, even if using Google Translate sometimes.
Also, I'm getting back with my "Essays" project in Russian, and if a native could correct it, I'd appreciate it =) Вот: РУССКИЙ: 5 - What animal do you like (or dislike) the most? Теперь моё любимое животное - кошка. В детстве у меня никогда не было больших животних как кошка, собака, только маленьнкие рыбки в аквариуме, но они были очень скучные. После свадьбы, моей жене было очень одиноко дома, далеко от России, и мы решили купить ей кота чтобы он был с ней. Мы его называли “Folgato”, что значит что-то вроде “Наглый Кот” по-португальски. Он был такой смешной, игривый, и, конечно, ооочень наглый )) Однажды, год спустя, дверь в доме былa открыта, наш кот чего-то испугался и убежал из дома, к сожалению =/ В любом случае, теперь кошки - мои любимые животние )) Мы с женой хотим “купить” 2 кота и собаку (правда жена хочет только кошек ахаха но собаки тоже хорошие).
