Latvian: Šis žagaru saišķis nav mans žagaru saišķis.
Means : This stick bundle is not my stick bundle. The second one is: Šis šaursliežu dzelzceļš nav mans šaursliežu dzelzceļš. Means: This narrow railway is not my narrow railway. Mainly this is hard because of the "sh" and "zh" sounds and the "dz" and "c". For some natives this is hard, not to mention foreigners. I'm interested if Czech people could get this done, since they have many "š", "č" and "ž" sounds in their language. 1 person has voted this message useful | ||||||

In the Polish movie 'Jak rozpętałem drugą wojnę światową' (How I unleashed the World War II), there is a scene, where a Polish soldier captured by Nazis has to give his name and place of birth.
Here the video, here the name: Grzegorz Brzęczyszczykiewicz, and here his birthplace: Chrząszczyżewoszczyce, powiat Łękołody. In this movie, many languages are spoken (Polish, German, Croatian, Greek, Arabic, French, Italian, English and Russian) with no subtitles, but all of them with a nice Polish accent ;-) 1 person has voted this message useful | ||||||

As I have no idea how Latvian sounds, I am trying to read this like a Czech would do. Yes, it is pronounceable, but the combination of 'š' and 's' within one word makes it difficult, just like in the Czech expression 'sušíš šest švestek' (you are drying six plums). 1 person has voted this message useful | ||||||
