A little more explanation on corrections.
This means: "The cat is Bob". It doesnt mean "Bob, the cat".
Wrong word order. Should be "Magyarországon lakik".
Should be without "vannak". No "be" verb in 3rd person present tense, indicative mood.
Word order! "Amikor látja (OR: meglátja) őket, futni akar és meg akarja fogni őket."
The particle "is" cannot be used this way. It goes inmediately after the subject. "Egy furcsa macska, a neve Bob, is utálja a macskákat és kutya akar lenni."
Word order. And "megeszik" instead of "eszik". "Bob mindig megy Maxhoz, mert Max barátja akar lenni, de Max csak meg akarja enni Bobot!"
"Jön" is indicative mood, imperative mood should be used instead. "Egy napon, Bob egy másik macskával beszél és azt mondja, hogy jöjjön vele és majd mennek a tóhoz."
"Eztán" is very archaic, normally it is "ezután". And wrongly placed article. You say "lunch of the Max", it should be "the lunch of Max". So: "Ezután Bob Maxnak mondja, hogy itt van Maxnak az ebédje!"
Should be "megeszi".
"Téged".
T-V distinction error! First is V, then it is T, should or V in all cases or T in all cases. So: "Segítettél nekem, adtál nekem macskát és tehát leszek a barátod."
"Lakhatsz".
Should be "ennek".
Instumentalis -val/-vel assimilates with the last consonant of the word, but "x" is not a Hungarian consonant, so it is considered as "ksz", so only the "sz" assimilates, so it is "Maxszal".
Veszély = danger. Veszélyes = dangerous. So it is "legveszélyesebb". "Szeret" should be in conditional mood. "De Bob már nem akar Maxszal lakni, mert Max unalmas és a tónál Bob szeretne a legjobb és a legveszélyesebb állat lenni."
"Minden" is a wrongly chosen word, it should be "egész". "Eszik" should be in definite conjugation. "Családjuk" should be with accusative suffix. "Bob mondja minden macskának, hogy Max egész családjukat megeszi.
No "vannak". And definite conjugation should be used instead of indefinite. "A macskák most nagyon mérgesek és meg akarják ölni Maxot"
You should use articles here! "Bobnak egy ötlet van: azt mondja Maxnak, hogy az ebéd (egy macska) a fa mellett van"

Először, köszönöm szépen a javításokot/javításakat. (how do I know if it should be an A or an O as the extra vowel in those suffixes?).
Nekem sok segítettel, és nagyon jó hogy magyar vagy, kell itt magyar ember. De Chung is sok segített, és remélem te és Chung majd is segíttek.

It depends on the keyboard and on the software you are using. I am using the "Hungarian 101-Key" keyboard layout that is in Windows XP Professional. I studied mainly on my own for a few years quite some time ago. I did take one course in Hungarian and have travelled several times to Hungary and once to Transylvania. Unfortunately I've rarely used Hungarian in quite some time outside Hungary. 1 person has voted this message useful |
