@tristano, which round do you mean? This week's or this year's in general? :)

@Mohave, I've not thought of youtube playlists before. Hmmmmm. I definitely wouldn't want to count playlists like "my favourite songs" with no real connection, and even random songs from a particular country or in a particular language are too broad of a category imo. On the other side of the spectrum there would be playlists based on published albums and compilations, which obviously count. I'm not sure where to draw the line, really. I think ideally there should be something relatively objective that unites the songs - something along the lines of time period, genre, language/country, and maybe a relatively narrow topic (e.g. "love" is too vague, but breakups or LGBT love is specific enough). I mean the topic could reduce the need for other connections, but it's not quite sufficient on its own. Anyway if I got it right that your playlist songs have a similar style, it should fit :)

@Via Diva congrats again :D You mentioned wanting to share the gems you already know, well, there have been tons of threads for this :) Check the music tag maybe?

Serpent, soon after I've signed up being in kinda the same situation as now I have posted about Angizia here to no avail. Seeing the activity there doesn't
inspire me at all. I guess it might be useful to create music threads in languages' separate rooms, but that implies using TL, plus not every language has its room. This is a complete disaster...

OK this is right up my alley.

Do you count weeks starting from Monday or Sunday? Monday but I can start the
challenge on Sunday
Preferred challenge type (optional) I think I am going to do 1 song a day on lyrics
training for 7 days, and preferably buy s copy of it so I can relisten on my phone
through the week

I will start on Sunday with Je Veux by Zaz. This is not absolutely new as I recently
bought the single off ITunes and have listened a few times and read the lyrics but I'd
like ideally to learn the lyrics quite well.   After that I will pick random things
that look interesting off Lyricstraining.

ok, this week:
Nocte Obducta - Verderbnis - Der Schnitter kratzt an jeder Tür
I had to listen to it while doing Duolingo (I muted it completely), but I don't think it would be any better if I have listened to it while doing nothing. Potentially NO stated as I band I should really like:

But just as Dornenreich was a band of two songs from my POV for quite a while, NO remains vague. I intended to listen to their other album, but last.fm showed that I have done that already. That should have happened not long ago, but:

And what I can say about the album I have just listened to? The same fate awaits, hehe.
