This is an interesing thread, it provides some fun :). Regarding the gay stuff, I hadn't the faintest idea either, so I didn't fully understand the title of this thread. As for Spain, hrhenry is right, the common term is 'viejo verde' (literally 'old greener').

I don't see anything wrong in a woman sleeping with a guy 4 years younger unless the guy is a junior high student or younger.
About the topic of this thread, nothing comes to my mind at the moment, but we refer to older men married to much younger women (like 10 years) as 'thieves'.

It got me wondering what that expression is like in other languages though. Are they all dirty old men, or are there the occasional beast out there?

A general term for "dirty old man" in Canto would be 鹹濕佬, "salty wet geezer". The "salty wet" part is an idiomatic expression meaning "pervy" or sometimes "pornographic" when referring to movies etc. Another word I haven't heard but I found in the dictionary is 偷窺亞伯, "peeping uncle". Bear in mind that "uncle" can be used to refer to any older man in general. And there are many more. 麻甩 (or 麻甩佬), "a house sparrow". 鹹蟲, "a salty insect", and probably even more.

Regarding simply dating a person of a different age group, a younger man going out with an older woman is said to 煲老藕, "boil an old lotus root". There's also a general term 煲老牛, "boil an old cow" which I think can apply to both men and women. I expect these are related, since 藕 (ngau5) and 牛 (ngau4) are pronounced almost the same (only different in tone).

In Mandarin there's also the brilliantly euphemistic 老牛吃嫩草, "old bull eats tender grass".

I think it's the opposite. The rich old man is seen as using his wealth to help him

Um, I didn't write that...

Sorry for the misquote. I've corrected it in my post.

The slang "cradle snatcher" comes to mind.
