In colloquial Peninsular Spanish (but also heard in Mexican Spanish) many times imperfecto is used instead of conditional, just like in colloquial Portuguese.

When a Spaniard wants to say I would f* her,
he will say: ¡Me la follaba! with the imperfect and not with the conditional.

Los españoles que he escuchado han usado "Yo la besaría" en vez de "Yo la besaba" e incluso "Yo me la follaría" en vez de "Yo me la follaba", aunque naturalmente puede ser que existan variaciones en diferentes lugares de españa.
