Merry Christmas to you andeveryone too.

Unfortunately, it's not so international, but some years ago, I got a Christmas card from
Korean friend.

I have been corresponding with penfriends in Europe already since 1996 and therefore I have received Christmas letters with cards from:

- Germany
- The Netherlands
- France
- Sweden
- Hungary
- Austria

With these people I exchange letters every second month.

I only sent two international cards this year, both in English. One went to a distant cousin in England and the other to a family friend in the Netherlands.

I just sent an email in 5 languages to a fellow language geek I've fallen out with. hope she has fun figuring out the stuff in Finnish and Russian and we'll be friends again:')
edit: what a huge relief. of course it's all because of the content, but i'm gonna love this song 3579795x more from now on. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k-ULZ7mfe80

overall i don't rely on our post so i only give physical cards in person, rather than send them, but on twitter etc i congrat people in various languages:)

Well, I sent an email to my sifu in simplified Mandarin, and a gift to my girlfriend in Cantonese. Other than those, not Christmas cards or letters were sent, but I did spend some time with the extended family, which includes my cousin's wife who's from Gambia, though her Swedish is getting pretty good now, so the conversations were mostly in Swedish, with some English.

I did 2 holiday emails in French & sent a Christmas card to my friend who hosted me in France for 1 week this
summer. At a party, I met a man who spoke German, but as I know none, it wasn't an opportunity for me to
practice.
