I've heard the expression, "Чуждото яйце е с два жълтъка" (The foreign egg has two yolks), which I think is
equivalent to "The grass is always greener on the other side."

Actually, ігра(игра) means "game" in Russian, but the Ukrainian word is simply "гра". But you can probably get away with saying "ігра", since Ukrainians know Russian anyway. However, the plural is "ігри", strangely enough.
