INTRODUCTION
Calabrian-Sicilian is an Italian dialect.Italian dialects aren't variants of Italian,but they are languages.Sicilian was the first Italian literary language,thanks to Federico II of Svevia,that founded the Sicilian poetic school.It could be the Italian language,but after,thanks to Dante,Petrarca and Boccaccio,Tuscan vulgar became the most important vulgar.It has been however,an important language.Many Maltese writers have written their operas in Sicilian and It was the language of well-educated people in Malta.In fact,still today you can find Sicilian words in the Maltese language.After,Sicilian was replaced by Italian.Still today It is the most important Italian dialect.
