Thank you very much! It's a challenge my friend's daughter has set him to decipher. I'm suspecting she has just put something into google translate maybe though and it may not all make sense.

I know it's a month late, but in case anyone's still wondering, it's most likely "In case you're reading this, I know you wish you weren't here at all." It's definitely from Google Translate, because if you paste that and translate E->J, you'll get the exact mumbo jumbo in the riddle.
