	I'm on the Croatian island of Krk now, and I went out for a hike this morning. During the hike I saw a guy trying to set up his camera on a rock so he could get a picture of himself and his wife. So I offered to take the picture of them, and after I did, he said, "Jenki" (no idea of the spelling). We ended up leap-frogging each other several times, and so I took their picture for them several more times and every time he said, "Jenki." He didn't speak English, and I have no idea what language he was speaking. The only word I've heard in Croatian for "thank you" is "hvala" so I'm wondering if it's casual Croatian, or if it's from a different language. There are a lot of German tourists here, but I believe it's "danke" in German. Any of you got any ideas? Thanks 1 person has voted this message useful

	Thanks for the reply. I knew it sounded familiar. I was in Krakow for about 4 days last year, but I couldn't remember where I'd heard it before. 1 person has voted this message useful
