We have had some incidents in which the HTLAL forum became inaccessible. If this happens again, several
emergency meeting places are set up so that members and readers can get in touch with each other. They are all "unofficial" extensions of the forum and not part of it. Also, please feel free to use these options to contact the moderators if you have a problem accessing your account. Accounts are occasionally deactivated in error, but we can reactivate them if you let us know. Was the last one The Week That Never Was, at the beginning of March, 2015? Even if logs indicate I've been visiting daily ever since, it's actually my backup scripts. My own logs show no accessibility 'hiccups', but little else, and I'm a bit disconnected as of now, so if something else happened later on please elaborate :) 2 persons have voted this message useful | |||

Yes, that was the last time the forum was down. It came up in a discussion recently, so I posted the contact

Rdearman has been kind enough to set up a mailing list for those who would like to be informed if the forum
fails. You can subscribe here: http://how-to-learn-any-language.org/lists/?p=subscribe&id=1 mailing list The list is not for spam or commer ial messages, only information if it becomes necessary. As I said in the tech room I just subscribed so I'm in the mailing list now. Oh, how I've missed mailing lists since the advent of forum software... let's test it, please :)
