Anyone know of any Hawaiian music with lyrics that are actually in Hawaiian? The only one
I've been able to find is He Mele No Lilo, from Lilo and Stitch. I love that song and
wish I could find more Hawaiian music!

Most CDs by the late Israel Kamakawiwoʻole contain some Hawai'ian songs.

BTW, Project Gutenberg has PDF files of some Hawaiian textbooks and dictionaries:

Hawaiian Dictionary by Mary Kawena Pukui

Spoken Hawaiian By Samuel H. Elbert

Hawaiian Grammar by Samuel H Elbert

Of course, also see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Music_of_Hawaii and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Hawaiian_songwriters.

Notably, the last Hawaiian monarch was a very talented songwriter.

Here's a song I heard last Saturday at the Kaka‘ako Farmers’ Market: Kaulana Nā Pua (lyrics and translation here). I'd heard it many times before, but never appreciated its deeper significance until I asked the singer what it was called and looked up its history and the Hawaiian translation at home.
