Indeed, it was a lot of fun to hop around different languages a bit. I was happy to be able to understand most everything being said, but I'll have to work more on my output for next time so I can keep up with the conversation better. :)

Yeah, I should also work on my active skills! Maybe, I'll finally give places like italki a chance or do a conversation class.
Cristina, there's nothing wrong with your German! You may feel more confident in French or Spanish, but it's actually very good! I was impressed! :) EDIT: YnEoS, please don't get me wrong. I thought you did a good job in your foreign languages today! I just meant to say that, as my focus isn't on language production either, I should probably dedicate more time to it just as you plan to do. @Expugnator: We missed both our Brazilians today, hope we'll see you soon :-) We talked about doing
another Skype session in a not too distant future. And you guys both did great in the conversation. I sound good because I speak fast, but that does not necessarily mean that the quality is any better. Hi comrades, I'm back on HTLAL and Team Катюша after a too-long absence. A short rest lapsed into a long lazy lay-off, and I think I went around 65 days without studying any Russian. I feel really bad about that, but I feel better now because сегодня я изучил в течение три часов and attended первый урок нового курса русского языка. Now I'm determined to continue on the right path.
Also, I would be glad to join you all in the next Skype conversation. I feel like I have a couple of thousand forgotten words to recall before then... 1 person has voted this message useful |
