You only need to point to "forum_posts.asp" plus the thread ID and the page number to link stuff within the forum, like this: [url=forum_posts.asp?TID=16479&TPN=91]Link text here[/url] (I've added your exact post ID in my example, though -- that "#479025" part in the actual link address)

I did that, and the forum's software still cut off part of the URL, making the link not
work. Each time I tried it, I got the same result. I have never had this problem on a
forum until I started posting here.

Maybe the team leader should create another thread? I really think it's time for someone to assume the position. I'd do it, if I had more time =/

Great idea, kujichagulia! Where do you think it would be better to
post those introductions, here or on our own logs? |

I'd say on your own logs: that should encourage people to visit them regularly. (Although
I must shamefully admit that I didn't manage to actually write a 自己紹介 throughout the
whole of 2013 ... I'm hoping to do better this year :-)).

Yeah, good idea to post an introduction in your own logs, precisely so that people will visit them. :)
A tip about writing Japanese on this (sometimes irritating) forum: put an "English" space (which means a space not using a Japanese IME or whatever you use to write Japanese) after every sentence, and also in the middle of longer sentences. The forum will display the Japanese better that way. (It considers Japanese to be just one long word, and will automatically add spaces or something, which messes up the Japanese completely.)
For example, this is what I do:
私は [space]アメリカ人です。[space] どうぞ [space]よろしくお願いします。
I added extra spaces in there, but you get the point.
As for a new thread, mrwarper took the initiative to start this thread, so I want to give him a chance to continue his work and participation. I'll try to PM him to see what's happening.
EDIT: Nevermind.... I just saw his post earlier in the page. Sorry!

Yes, I'm back but I'm still catching up with loads of stuff -- I only got round to finish my '13 summary yesterday and I haven't really started my log for '14 yet, so please bear with me for a couple more days. I'll update the placeholders with links, summarized TAC info, etc.
