Please vote for the YouTube polyglot you feel is the most skilled at conversation. This is the final. Each finalist
had the most votes in their respective preliminary polls (excluding
one person, who opted out).

The you tube channel is listed after the name of each finalist. I encourage you to check out their channels
yourself. I included a small sample of their work below:

Here is a sample of Luca Lampariello’s videos:
Spanish
French
Mandarin
English
Russian
German
Swedish
Dutch

Here is a sample of Steve Kaufmann’s:
Mandarin
Japanese
French
Spanish
Portuguese
Swedish, Cantonese, Italian
German
Russian

And here is a sample of Robert Bigler’s:
English
Spanish
Italian
Croatian
French
Russian
Japanese

I really like to watch the videos of these masters. They all do what I want to - converse really, really well. I am
going through a phase now where I’m trying to take most of my
advice from people who have demonstrated a high level of skill, and be a little more leery of those who haven’t.
So I thought it would be nice to provide a links to some
information about these guys’ learning methods.
An Easy Way
to Learn Foreign Languages (Luca Lampariello)

My language learning credo. (Steve Kauffman)

My way of learning languages (Robert
Bigler)

I think all of them are great and an inspiration for me, but I vote for Luca, since he was the first one I "met" on Youtube and since then he never stopped amazing me with his skills, motivation and will to learn and to share his knowledge with others.

Go Luca!

Thanks for your post, fabriciocarraro. I agree - Luca is awesome. I like all three of them. I'm learning Russian, and I
really enjoyed comparing the 3 videos. Totally different.

Robert Bigler's accent in English amazes me, I would honestly not be 100% sure if he was American or not, (well
as long as he doesn't do that weird changing into a mix of an Irish/Weird English accent thing he was doing for
some of his videos.

Overall, I would say the best thing about these youtube polyglot videos is that they SHOW us that it is
possible to speak languages this incredibly well. I always thought that maybe just Luca was the only one
talented enough to get a near perfect accent, but after hearing Robert Bigler speak Italian and English I was super
impressed, not to mention his French, which to my ear sounded amazing.

I know some people don't like the aspect that this kind of video making sometime implies, and some people
think it's showing off, but to be quite honest, before I started watching videos of Luca and even to a lesser extent
Benny the Irish polyglot, I didn't study my languages with the end goal of speaking near native like, because I
simply didn't believe it possible without "years" of immersion.
BUT! Despite my stuttering that tends to drive me crazy with copying accents in foreign languages, I still strive to
speak like these people on YouTube! And in doing that I have drastically improved my effectiveness and
ambitions with languages in general

And to that thank you YouTube polyglots and keep doing what you're doing despite the haters! Haterz gone
hate... as they say :D

Luca wins for European languages, Steve wins for Asian languages.

I'm curious to see Robert Bigler's videos, especially for Russian and Croatian.

If I remember correctly, Robert deleted his account (or at least his videos) a few years ago.
