That's a real achievement to get to the stage where you think that somebody is speaking one of your very strong languages because you understand so well and naturally.

I can't imagine getting to that stage in Hungarian, although today I was listening to Kossuth radio and understood about 20% which is probably double what I usually understand!

Thanks for posting your language story.

As I've said before, you're so lucky to be bilingual. Lucky isn't the right word because you worked hard to get there too, but you know what I mean.

I agree that your story is unique and inspiring! As a child, 7th to 8th grade, you were speaking German, French, and learning Latin and English. You are a very good person to ask about the debate between those who advocate learning one language completely before starting another, versus those who prefer to learn several languages simultaneously. Did that mar you as a student, was it too hard, or did you thrive? It sounds like you thrived and appreciated what you learned in later classes but I don't want to assume.

Is that Hungarian text difficult for you? It's very difficult for me! Can I post it on the Hungarian thread to get help from Maxval? It looks interesting!

I understood all of the little text written by you though and learned the phrase - szempontjából. From the context I guess it means - From the point of view of...

I always enjoy your songs by the way!
