wakarimasen. eigo ni nite iru no wa eigo to onaji roomaji wo tsukatte iru kara desu. dakara koso eigo no neetibusupiikaa ni totte atarashii arufabetto wo manabu hou yori yasashii to omoimasu. roomaji wo tsukau kokugo wa eigo igai takusan arimasu ne. tsukawareta kotoba ga wakareba, yomizurai to omowanai deshou.
zerrubabbelsan, kana to kanji de nihongo wo manabitai to itte iru no nara, betsu no hanashi ni narimasu. kanji no hou ga roomaji no hou yori utsukushii to iu to, mata betsu no hanashi ni narimasu.

tokoro de, dono kurai boku no nihongo ga wakarimasu ka. muzukashii tokoro ga areba oshiete kudasai.

Watashiwa nihonjindesu. Hiiro yui san no skype paatonaa desu. Nihogo manabu tokini romaji wo tukau kotowa yoi houhou dato omoimasu. Nazenaraba romajino ototo nihonngo ottowa onajinanode monndainaito omoimasu. tadshi narubeku hayaku hiraganawo oboetahouga yoi to omoimasu. demo hiro86san, nihonjin ga roomaji de kaku hou wa nihongo no shuugakusha ga kanji ya hiragana de kaku hou yori yasashii desu ne. nihonjin ga chotto renshuu sureba, narete kuru to omoimasu.

waa... ue no roomaji no nihongo wo yonde, hontou ni muzukashii ne. kaku no wa yasashii kedo yomu no hou ga muzukashii da ne. demo, ii kangae da to omoimasu. nihongo wo tsukau kikai ga aru to, motto motto nihongo ga jouzu ni naru da to omoimasu ne.

I not sure if romaji is Japanese or not but I hear and watch quite enough anime (Japanese cartoons) to know what is good for

I think romaji just what Japanese use to help you recognize a Kanji, Hiragana or Katakana which has more than 1 way to read.

So what will you do if there are words have same spelling like koi-fish and koi-love and even crossword like koi-come?

Well, just ask so as I haven't learn Japanese.

btw: does anyone here love manga or anime :D

@maraschino912 - I am probably the only Japanese learner in the world that doesn't like manga or anime. (Not entirely true; I do like Crayon Shinchan, but it's embarrassing to admit that.)

I think the purpose of this thread is just to practice speaking... er... communicating in Japanese and practicing what you know, without worrying about Kanji. Romaji was perhaps suggested because not everyone can type out Japanese characters on their computers, or it's easier to just go ahead and type it in romaji.

yonde mite: mi casa es su casa.
kondo wa roomaji: mi kasa esu su kasa.

yasashii desu ne.

Hiiro Yui-san, roomaji ga tashika ni yonde yasui desu ga, nihon de kyuunenkan sunde itte, kanji no yomu no wo naretan desu. Roomaji de yomu no ga mada naremasen kara. Shikashi, motto roomaji de kaite renshuu suru to, mondai ga nai to omoimasu.
