Hey I was just looking for some good esperanto listening/reading material, video podcasts, or anything of that nature. I just began learning Esperanto, but in my experience I've found that it is best to immerse yourself and challenge yourself and learning comes much quicker. Any materials will be greatly appreciated.

I just checked it out real quick. I see that there seem to be a lot of different courses for all different types of learners, which is great! I will definitely use some of the audio. I also found a podcast called Radio Verda for anyone who is interested. I don't understand enough of the language to fully understand it but of course I can pick out bits and pieces and listen to it to get the feel for the language.

Inmersion could be a good beginning. The basics of Esperanto grammar are easy ... it helps a lot to start there. The best "immersion" ... 2 sets of videos ... more than 10 hours in all, all spoken in good Esperanto: Animations ... you may watch almost 3 hours. If you have children, watch together with them: http://esperantofre.com/ edu/kino01a.htm In the same page you will find a link to the complete text of the 3 videos. You may read while you listen to. But first, enjoy the animations. Then you can watch more than seven hours of videos with actors from 12 countries ... ( ... different accents?)This page is all in Esperanto. If you cannot understand, just go a little lower and click all the numbers on the left hand side of the screen.
