It depends on what you want to express.
sing.
Христианин
Христианина
Христианину etc.
plural
Христиане
Христиан
Христианам etc.

You can say:
У христианина (sing.) бог один.
or
У христиан (plural) бог один.

The first one would be grammatically ok, but still a bit awkward in regard to stylistics.

Ah, make sense, so it was plural genitive and not singular genitive. Thanks, Masha.

Другой вопрос.

<<Много крестьян переходило с места на место.>>

I understand that when <<много>> is used the noun <<крестьянин>> becomes in its genitive plural form <<крестьян>>, but I don't understand why <<переходило>> there is not in its plural form <<переходили>> either?

So shouldn't have the sentence be <<Много крестьян переходили с места на место.>>?

Because <<много>>, not <<крестьянине>> is the subject of the sentence and this word is treated as a singular, neuter noun.

Literally it is "There was a lot of the Christians going from place to place"

I meant of course "A lot of farmers were going from place to place". Thanks for the correction, Radu-1987.

I had still the sentence "У христианина бог один." in mind.

Greetings. I have another sentence below, and I have some questions on it.

«10 марта 1813 года под звон полуденных колоколов всех церквей в округе над самой высокой башней Фракнойского замка взвился княжеский стяг.»
==================================

Q1. Where the stress falls on each words, highlighted in bold, correct me if I'm mistaken.

«10[Десятый] марта 1813[тысяча восемьсот тринадцатый] года под звон полуденных колоколов всех церквей в округе над самой высокой башней Фракнойского замка взвился княжеский стяг.»

Q2. «…над самой высокой башней Фракнойского замка…»

Shouldn't word «Фракнойского» be «Фракнойских» instead, as «замка» is plural form of «замок»?

Huh. The way bolding works on this forum software is... interesting. I'll just capitalise the stressed vowels.

ДеСЯтого МАРта ТЫсяча восемьСОТ триНАДцатого года (genitive male singular!) под взон поЛУденных колокоЛОВ всех церкВЕЙ в окРУге над САмой выСОкой БАШней фракНОЙского ЗАМка взВИЛся КНЯжеский стяг.

Plural of замок is замки. Замка is замок in genitive. Округе can be formed from ОКруг or окРУга. The latter, in this case.

No
над самой высокой башней (чего?) - Фракнойского замка - родительный падеж
именительный падеж : зАмок ; plural - зАмки
родительный падеж (чего?): зАмка ; plural - зАмков
