Hello, i don't know about biblical hebrew resources, but i found a book on the internet
that is free, and seems to be a complete grammar of modern hebrew. The book seems to be
in its complete form as well. Maybe it's illegal, not at all sure.

Oh, it doesn't seem to work when I access it via the link in the post. To find the book
then, just google the phrase 'modern Hebrew an essential grammar' and click on the first
result.

That is a great free resource. Here is a link that works:

Here are some resources that I have used and can recommend for learning Biblical Hebrew:

1. Mansoor's Biblical Hebrew Step by Step series (volumes 1 and 2):

http://www.amazon.com/Biblical-Hebrew-Step/dp/0801060419/ref =sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1302348103&sr=8-1

http://www.amazon.com/Biblical-Hebrew-Step-Readings-Genesis/ dp/0801061512#_

2. Weingreen's Practical Grammar:

http://www.amazon.com/Practical-Grammar-Classical-Hebrew/dp/ 0198154224/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1302350228&sr=1-1

3. The Grove-Wheeler Westminster Hebrew Morphology:

http://www.theword.net/index.php?purchase-item&pid=15&l=engl ish

4. Brown-Driver-Briggs Hebrew Definitions - used in conjunction with #3

5. Interlinearbible.org -has some incredible Biblical Hebrew resources such as:

http://interlinearbible.org/genesis/1.htm

http://study.interlinearbible.org/genesis/1.htm

6. Blue Letter Bible:

http://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/lexicon/lexicon.cfm?Stro ngs=H1&t=KJV

7. Hebrew Audio Bible:

http://www.pmapitkanen.com/OTstudies/Hebrew%20Audio.htm

The main difference between learning Biblical Hebrew versus Modern is that Biblical Hebrew is based on a fixed corpus, i.e., the text of the Bible. Thus there are resources that allow detailed analysis of the text.

For example, #3 contains detailed parsing for every word in the Bible:

@vhp3ms+X3msOc (Westminster Hebrew Morphology Codes)
@-v-h-p-3-m-s-X-3-m-s-Oc
@:     Hebrew origin
v:     verb
h:     hifil
p:     perfect
3:     3rd person
m:     masculine
s:     singular
X:     suffiX
3:     3rd person
m:     masculine
s:     singular
Oc:     consecutive perfect
Lemma: נכה

and #4 contains detailed lexical information on each word:

H5221 (Brown-Driver-Briggs' Hebrew Definitions)
- Original: נכה
- Transliteration: Nakah
- Phonetic: naw-kaw'
- Definition:
1. to strike, smite, hit, beat, slay, kill
a. (Niphal) to be stricken or smitten
b. (Pual) to be stricken or smitten
c. (Hiphil)
1. to smite, strike, beat, scourge, clap, applaud, give a thrust
2. to smite, kill, slay (man or beast)
3. to smite, attack, attack and destroy, conquer, subjugate, ravage
4. to smite, chastise, send judgment upon, punish, destroy
d. (Hophal) to be smitten
1. to receive a blow
2. to be wounded
3. to be beaten
4. to be (fatally) smitten, be killed, be slain
5. to be attacked and captured
6. to be smitten (with disease)
7. to be blighted (of plants)
- Origin: a primitive root
- TWOT entry: 1364
- Part(s) of speech: Verb

and #6 contains even more lexical information including every verse where נכה
is used:

#7 then contains a reading of the entire Bible in Hebrew by chapter so you have an example of pronounciation.

Also, the resources in # 5 allow for reading the Bible in Hebrew in either an interlinear format, i.e., Hebrew on the first line and English on the second line, or in Hebrew only, with the text having mouse-over capability for the English definition and also being clickable for more detailed lexical information.
