When I try to post this as a new topic, the forum appends my post to a thread in Korean (!). So, I'm putting it here.
ایران همراه با ملت سوریه اجازه عملی شدن توطئههای آمریکا، اسرائیل و آلسعود را در سوریه نخواهد داد. Does that mean... "Together with the nation of Syria, Iran will not give practical permission for the plots of America, Israel, and Al-Saud to be realized in Syria." Thanks whoever can help. This had me scratching my head for a while.
I think عملی شدن should be read "to be carried out," and اجازه … نخواهد داد as "will not allow." So I would translate the sentence as "Together with the nation of Syria, Iran will not allow the conspiracies/plots of America, Israel, and the Saud family to be carried out in Syria." Or, to see how this would be understood in real time, here's a more literal translation: "Iran, together with the nation of Syria, the allowing of the carrying-out of the plots of America, Israel, and the Saud family in Syria, will not give. 2 persons have voted this message useful | |
