I have a question about continuing to learn a language after I have worked through a coursebook. I personally really like the Teach Yourself 'style' of learning. A book that gives you a piece of text with a vocabulary before/after it, followed by a review of certain grammar points and exercises. The trouble is, the only languages I can find Intermediate or Advanced courses for are the 'Big 4' (Spanish, French, German, Italian). How would I go about getting a more advanced course for something not as popular?

It depends, what exactly would you like to study?

If you go into your average bookshop, no, you won't find much. But there are much more detailed courses available for languages such as Indonesian, Japanese, Chinese, Russian, Ukrainian, Latvian, Bulgarian, Mongolian, Georgian, Armenian...
