Bear in mind that he's been at it for one year. I haven't heard many people speak a foreign language at an "advanced level" without mistakes after that short a period.

Yes, Luca is great. I watched some of his videos.
His Polish is very basic, full of mistakes. My English is much better, but somehow nobody admires me. Life is
unfair.

If Polish had been his only language, nobody would admire him either. However this is something like his
12th language, and he has a great accent and a very high level in almost all of them. He is still in an early
stage with Polish.

But don't worry. I am sure you will get your fair share of admiration :-)

Hey guys!

Check out Luca's new master class video about how to remember words!

Masterclass on remembering words -
Youtube

I'm sure that this is something that we all can take something away from, as it's one of
the most important things in order to learn a language properly.

Hey guys! Check out Luca's latest video where he brings up really important points for how to learn a language. Points that he brings up are building up a language core,
consistency, relevancy and continuously challenging yourself, as well as reminding yourself of why you're learning the language - continuous motivation.

Check it out and recommend it to your friends as well, even if you're a seasoned language learner.

hmmm....Although Luca is a genuine polyglot and a nice guy and all that, I don't find
this video to have been his finest hour.

That model of presentation ... English alternating with Russian, while probably useful
for those learning Russian, or Russian speakers learning English, with its inevitably
disjointed style just turned into a series of soundbites, with, sorry to say, very
little more information or insight than you can read on here most days of the week.

He would have been better off giving a shorter talk straight off in English and a
separate one in Russian (in which he is fluent, according to his website). When we
follow the link in the information under the video, we find it's a link to his advert
for his Masterclass product. Well fine. He's entitled to make a living, but the lecture
in itself didn't really tell us anything that was new.

I agree that it would be much better if it were 2 (or more) separate presentations, only in English, Russian or whatever language.

I wasn't aware about the Masterclass product link. Thank you.
